This self-paced online course will help you to recognise and clarify your unique talents and give you the tools to Find and Tell YOUR Story and promote a Mentally Healthy life.

Welcome and Course Outline

This introductory lesson will provide an outline of the lessons and includes strategies to set you up for a successful course outcome.

Talent Journal

This lesson will introduce the Talent Journal as the major resource for helping you to find and embrace YOUR Talent.

It will provide instruction on the effective use of journaling techniques to create a visual and personal record of your unique YOU.

Setting the Scene

This lesson will set the scene for the Value YOUR Story course by introducing meanings, concepts and the connection to a Mentally Healthy Life.

Using a scenario based on a character of Mary, we begin to discover the various roles that impact our Skills, Talents and daily life.

Find YOUR Story

In this lesson we build on the meanings and concepts from the Setting the Scene lesson while taking another walk with the character Mary.

Through the use of your Talent Journal, you will consider the various roles you play, identify the skills you apply in undertaking these roles and continue on to recognise your Talents.

Tell YOUR Story

The final lesson, Tell YOUR Story, brings everything together by taking your various Talents previously identified and puts them in writing to create a Talent Statement.
